Sanford Children's Update

With the support and generosity of thousands of donors throughout the region, the Sanford Children’s Challenge - the campaign to construct and raise permanent support for a state-of-the-art children’s hospital on the Sanford USD Medical Center campus that kicked off in 2004 with Mr. T. Denny Sanford’s lead gift of $16 million - came to a close in February with the achievement of the initial fundraising goal of $32 million. The Sanford Health Foundation has now embarked on an endowment building campaign of $100 million. This campaign will provide perpetual support for Sanford Children’s Hospital operations and all related pediatric services and research. There are still plenty of sponsorship and naming opportunities available through the endowment campaign.
