 Flexible Spending Account Access
Sanford Health Plan offers Flexible Spending Accounts and Premium Only Conversion Plans. The flexible spending accounts include both medical reimbursement accounts and dependent care reimbursement accounts. The flexible spending account plans were designed to provide employees with a way in which to pay for medical and dependent care expenses with pre-tax dollars.
Through our flexible spending accounts, we currently offer the ability to view the status of accounts through a secure website. This ability allows the participant to access claims, payments, and balance information 24-hours a day. Also, to be released January 1, 2005, our flexible spending account participants who are enrolled in a Sanford Health Plan medical plan will have the ability to have their eligible out-of-pocket expenses automatically rollover to be paid through their medical reimbursement account.
With the computer technology age of today, we understand the need to deliver a more paperless process, and we continue to strive to find methods for saving time and money for our flexible spending account participants. |
