SCAN Team

Working closely with the community, Child’s Voice is part of a multidisciplinary Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect (SCAN) Team. This local team meets monthly to review reported cases of suspected abuse which are referred by other healthcare professionals.

Members of the SCAN Team include:

• Children’s Advocacy Center Staff
• Community Members
• Healthcare Providers
• Law Enforcement Officials
• Mental Health Counselors
• Prosecutors
• Social Services Staff
• Social Workers
