Thanks to the generosity of Dr. Milton and Ruby Mutch, The Women’s Resource Center has a new name, new services and a new location. Dr. Milton and Ruby Mutch have been community leaders and supporters of women’s health in Sioux Falls for over 48 years.

Dr. Milton G. Mutch founded Obstetrics and Gynecology Ltd. in 1959 and served on the medical staff of Sioux Valley Hospital for 38 years until his retirement from active practice in 1998. During his career he delivered between nine and ten thousand babies.

Dr. Mutch was a pioneer in introducing cutting edge medical technology for women’s health in the Sioux Falls area. Since his retirement he has remained active in the Sioux Falls community on various community boards and committees.

Ruby Mutch’s love for children led her to the career of teaching elementary students in Minneapolis prior to moving to Sioux Falls with Dr. Mutch in 1959. She has been an active community volunteer over the years, working with groups such as Sioux Valley Hospital Auxiliary,the Sioux Valley Foundation, PEO, South Dakota Symphony and Augustana College. Dr. and Mrs. Mutch are the parents of four children, David, Andrea, Cynthia Ann and Matthew.
