Sanford Children’s Pediatric Intensive Care Units (PICU) provide advanced care and treatment to children with critical or severe illness and injury. Designed with state-of-the-art healing environments, both our Fargo and Sioux Falls’ PICUs offer a team approach to treatment that includes a variety of leading pediatric specialists including pediatric intensivists, respiratory therapists, child life specialists, nutritionists, speech therapists and physical therapists. Our Pediatric transport team provides 24/7 transport for children who need to be transferred to our facilities.
