USATF – Certified Half Marathon
Over 950 runners ran the 13.1-mile course for the Sioux Falls Half-Marathon on September 7th. Runners enjoyed the flat, fast course designed to showcase many of the natural and manmade landmarks. The race began at Howard Wood Field. At approximately the 4-mile mark, the runners entered the beautifully restored Falls Park, and the city’s namesake, the magnificent three tiered falls of the Big Sioux River. At Falls Park, runners connected with the city’s paved bike trail tracing the shaded banks of the Big Sioux River. The trail bends around the city and took the runners to the finish at Sertoma Park.
Miracle 5K
Nearly 450 participants enjoyed a 3.1 mile trek on September 7th. The race began and finished in the picturesque Sertoma Park. It was a beautiful morning to run or walk for the kids!
Kids Miracle Mile
We had over 70 participants enjoy the picturesque journey through the outdoor campus with their family and friends. This event is all for the children, but it is a wonderful One-Mile Journey for the whole family.
