The NORTH Center

The clinical disciplines of orthopedics, neurology, neurosurgery and rehabilitation are as interrelated as the body's own organs. An injury to a hand may require a visit to an orthopedist, a rehabilitation therapist and/or and neurologist.

Sanford recognizes the importance of an integrated approach to healthcare, which is the driving force behind the NORTH Center on the campus of Sanford USD Medical Center. The Neuroscience, Orthopedic, Rehabilitation Team Healing Center or NORTH Center houses orthopedic, rehabilitation, and neuroscience physicians in the same facility as various therapists and diagnostic equipment.

In addition to physicians, therapists and diagnostic testing, this facility offers specialized equipment, such as braces and other support mechanisms. The NORTH Center provides a multitude of specialized therapies and clinics as they relate to orthopedics and the neurosciences.
